Our Story
Husband and wife team, Kristy and Brady McDonald started BK Real Estate Investing in 2014 when they realized the wealth and freedom that real estate investing can bring.
By mid-2018, they’d purchased and renovated over 75 properties. Throughout this journey, Kristy and Brady created and perfected strategies and systems to make renovations, co-venture partnerships and property management run smoothly. Today, they share these strategies and systems with clients who want to find their own financial freedom through real estate investing.
Brady began as a Utility Arborist Instructor for Hydro One, a job he’s since retired from. Kristy began as and remains an AACI Accredited Real Estate Appraiser, except today she owns her own firm.

Our goal is to implement the best real estate investing strategies and options to allow our co-venture partners and allow us to reach our financial and life goals quicker, easier and with greater success.
We love the financial freedom that real estate investing has given, freedom to live our lives on our own terms. We truly enjoy helping other people discover the amazing possibilities that real estate investing can bring into their lives.
It’s incredibly rewarding to take a property with little or negative cash flow, that many would deem undesirable, and then transform it into an attractive property, with positive cash flow that anyone would be proud to own.

We provide appraisals for every type of residential property; from traditional single family residences and condominium units to rural residential properties and multi-unit dwellings.
PrivateHome Purchases
We often buy properties from home owners who wish to sell their house without using a realtor. Their reason for this may be to save on realtor fees or because they are looking for a quick sale. Regardless of the reason, our goal is to ensure the deal is a win win for all parties.
Second-SuiteConsulting
We help investors and homeowners create legal second suites efficiently, removing the risk of unnecessary delays, incurred costs, stress or lost rent.
