Example Investment Property Review

Our strategy works well because of the increase in value by adding a legal second suite to the property for a relatively low renovation cost. A key component of the strategy is the refinance, as this is what reduces your capital investment drastically which in turn, increases your yearly return on investment. 
Note:
  • Equity Take out is the difference between the original mortgage and the refinance mortgage.
  • This equity is used to pay back as much of the renovation costs and down payment as possible.
